Your thoughts drive your emotions. Every feeling or emotion you have, first starts with a thought or series of thoughts. Imagine you bought a Powerball ticket and are watching the drawing on TV. The first number comes up and it is a match. That’s nice. The second number comes up and it is a match. The third number is also a match. You start to feel excited. The fourth number is a match. You are at the edge of the seat and calling other people into the room. It goes on until you have matched all the numbers. That ticket is now worth $100,000,000! You scream. You dance around. You are happy, excited and maybe a little scared.

In reality, nothing has changed. Sure, tomorrow you get to go claim your millions but you don’t have it yet. Tonight nothing is different but you FEEL very different. What is causing…

Recording Artist of The Month: Anna Mae Bullock

Anna Mae Bullock was born in Nutbush Tennessee on November 26, 1939, she began her musical career in the mid-50s as a featured singer for a local Band, her first recording was in 1958 under the name “Little Anne.” Success would follow with a number of notable hits, including “A fool in Love,” “River Deep-Mountain High,” “Nutbush City Limits.” And continue to turn out hits up to this day.

In her Biography, which later became a box office hit, it was revealed that she suffered several bouts of domestic abuse by her then Husband prior to their divorce in 1978. However, raised as a devout Baptist, Anna Mae claimed that melding her faith with Buddhism during the early 70s, is what helped her endure those difficult times, as she would turn to its spiritual chant of “Nam Myoho Tenge Kyo” for strength and peace.

Over the decades, she has evolved as a solo female artist, becoming one of the world’s best-selling music artist of all time, often being referred to as the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. In 1991 she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame, and dubbed the most successful female Rock ‘n’ Roll artist being in receipt of: 11 Grammy Awards, inclusive of 8 competitive awards, 3 Grammy Hall of Fame Awards, and has sold out more concert tickets than any other solo artist in history. She is most noted for her energetic stage performance, powerful vocals and career longevity leading rolling stones to list rank her 63 on their 100 greatest artist of all time.

Flipping Your Weekdays…

I’m always trying different stuff on my blog, just to see what really clicks with my followers. However, I’ve fallen behind in posting this new blog feature, which I originally said would start in October. I’ve been so bogged down with a lot of personal stuff the past few weeks, that it’s been difficult to squeeze anything else in edgewise that’s no already been previously “Scheduled” for posting. But decided  it’s something I really wanted to do, so will find that tiny space to squeeze it in edgewise.
