“Life is a song – sing it. Life is a game – play it. Life is a challenge – meet it. Life is a dream – realize it. Life is a sacrifice – offer it. Life is love – enjoy it. ” ~Sai Baba
I often blog about appreciating your now by living in present. There is nothing wrong with looking forward to things as long as it doesn’t become an obsession. We can all agree that it’s nice to know enjoyable events are in store for us; but the problem is, once an event we’ve been looking forward to has arrive, we’re often already on the lookout for the next one, that the next big high obsessing about the what’s head and ignore the pleasures of our now.
Every thing you’ve gone through in life, every high, every low and all things in between, has led you to this moment you’re living right now. Ask yourself: How much of life am I actually living? If you’re like most people, the answer is would most likely be: “Not enough.” The key is to concentrate on a little less on doing and a little more on being.
While it’s ok to anticipate your future, remember, right now is the only moment guaranteed to you. Right now is life. Don’t miss it.
