“It’s a wonderful world. You can’t go backwards. You’re always moving forward. It’s the wonderful part about life. And that’s terrific.” ~Harvey Fierstein

So many times you’re ready to move forward in your live, and even though you do everything right to achieve, create and make that change. You’re still standing still. Nothing is moving. Something always seem to be holding you back.
Sometimes it something tangible like money, sometimes it’s something internal. For me, I could say it was both, but these three things topped the list for me. It took me a few years to figure it out and finally take that leap of faith, in getting my life on track.

I didn’t trust myself
I was constantly second-guessing myself. I was trapped in my ego mind, trying to figure out the right thing to do, rather than opening myself up to asking my higher self for guidance.

Your ego-mind doesn’t know what is right for you. When you learn to trust your inner voice, you will be guided in knowing what benefits your highest good.

I had a crippling fear of rejection.
Worry, worry, worry! I was constantly worrying about what others thought about me . I was terrified of taking risks. Second guessing every step I was about to make.

You have to ask yourself. Is it more important for me to control how others feel about me, than to take loving action for my highest good? Try listening to your own inner guidance to help you move you forward in life instead of staying stuck.

I was an information addict.
I read tons of self-help books, even attended a few personal growth workshops and seminars looking for answers to those burning questions-what should I be doing, how can I do it and what’s my purpose?  Believing that getting the answers from the experts would somehow change my life for the better. But I was NOT putting them into action. I used to overloaded myself with information, and did absolutely nothing with the information I received. Talk about carrying sand in a sieve right?

Getting the answers and not putting them into action actually does nothing. A great example of this…….You can read everything there is about nutrition, but if you do nothing to change your diet, nothing will change. Trust me on that!!
