Did you ever notice that there’s a certain line in every song sticks out because it reminds you of a person that you just can’t forget?   ~Unknown

Why do we love music? Is it because it move us, lifts us to new heights, make our soul sing? Gospel, Rock, Pop, Classical awakens our passion, our creativity and the love we have for another. The week went by so fast, but you don’t have to go with it. Don’t race through life so fast that you forget where you’re going or that you fail to stop to listen to a little music along the way.

No doubt that Whitney Houston can do it all, stir our senses, awaken our passion and having us shouting TGIF!!….

Whitney Houston’s first acting role, along side Kevin Costner, was starring in the feature film The Bodyguard in 1992; the film’s original soundtrack would go on to win the 1994 Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The lead single, “I Will Always Love You”, became the best-selling single by a woman in music history. With this album, Whitney became the first act (solo or group, male or female) to sell more than a million copies of an album within a single week period. The album makes her the top female act in the top 10 list of the best-selling albums of all time, at number four. Continuing to star in movies and contribute to their soundtracks, she starred in hit movies such as “Waiting to Exhale” in 1995 and “The Preacher’s Wife” in 1996. The Preacher’s Wife soundtrack became the best-selling gospel album in history.
