Feel Good Friday

“Growth is the great separator between those who succeed and those who do not. When I see a person beginning to separate themselves from the pack, it’s almost always due to personal growth.”
~John C. Maxwell

Today is THAT day! You know, the day that you  kick all those people who are NOT helping you achieve your goals to the curb. Sometimes we hold onto these people because we either, don’t have the courage to let them go or we just enjoy having an entourage, so it doesn’t matter  if they’re good for us or not, letting go can sometime be difficult.

But it’s even more difficult to live a life where your dreams are constantly being suppressed or pushed to the back of the line. If your entourage aren’t doing the job of keeping you motivated. Sever those ties!
If they’re not……
1.  Supporting your dream-Toss them out with the bath water
2. Feeding your spirit- Give them their pink slip, fire them, get them out of your life
3. If they continue to whisper negativity in your ear, shut the door, lock them on the other side.

Nothing is worse than a continuous chorus of negativity. Even if you’re the most positive person, eventually some of that ‘negative vibe’ is going RUB OFF! Trust me I’ve been there. But I had to build the courage to let go of those people.

If you’re the smartest person in your group, it’s time to get a new group. It’s time to find people who support you and who can contribute to your personal growth.

Hey it’s Friday, you have the entire weekend to do some real good soul cleaning.

Great advice! From time to time, we need to examine our circle and make adjustments. I believe if you are not helping me grow then you are hindering my growth, and it is time to move on. Not just friends, but family also.
