Feel Good Friday-Press On!

At times my posts on here  may seem repetitive, put learning comes from hearing, reading something over and over again.  Remember in Primary School that one teacher that insisted you learned your multiplication table like your life depended on it?  Well, I’m guessing it worked, because I’m sure that anyone of you can now recite those tables from 2-12.
I’m not offering you a blue pill or a red pill or even asking you to recite those timetables. What I am doing is listing six things that will hold you back in all areas of your life if you let them.
1.  Doubting your own dreams:  Big or smaIl, your dreams are yours to pursue and NO one else can realise them but you!  It doesn’t matter if your dream is to start a business, marry your prince charming,  learn to play a musical instrument, living a healthier lifestyle, The first step – and most arduous one – is you believing that your dream is possible.
2.  Letting others decide for you:  When you life has knocked the wind our your sails, it’s human nature to  a shoulder to cry on or  look for someone willing to take charge of your life for you.  But before you do, consider this:  If you give someone else to the lead, you’ll have no control of where you go.

3.  Dwelling on the things you’ve lost:   In life, there are some people and things you’re going to have to lose in order to find your best self.

4.  Overlooking the lesson:   Things go wrong so you learn to appreciate things when they go right.  And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. See the lesson in everything instead of seeing the loss.

5.  Being overly critical of yourself:   If you feel like everyone is judging you all the time, realise that we often feel this way when we are too busy judging ourselves.

6.  Giving up too soon. – Remember what you deserve and keeping pushing forward, stop thinking of all the reasons why you can’t be successful and start thinking of all the reasons you can.  Even if all the pieces don’t make sense right now,  someday  they will and you will look back at the situation and laugh.  Unimaginably good things will transpire in your life, even if everything doesn’t turn out exactly the way you had anticipated.
