Wonderful Wednesday- Some Food For Thought

“The essential lesson I’ve learned in life is to just be yourself. Treasure the magnificent being that you are and recognise first and foremost you’re not here as a human being only. You’re a spiritual being having a human experience.”
Wayne Dyer

After lengthy post  yesterday, which I’m sure left many of you with sensory overload, this one is little bit on the lighter side with  5 Daily reminders

“You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologise for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less travelled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in.”
~Mandy Hale

“Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.”
~Mark Twain

“Being yourself is one of the hardest things because it’s scary. You always wonder whether you’ll be accepted for who you really are. I decided to call my record ‘Inside Out’ because that’s my motto about life. I don’t think you ever succeed at trying to be anyone else but who you truly are.”
~Emmy Rossum

“Do not wait; the time will never be ‘just right.’ Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.”
George Herbert

“We are taught you must blame your father, your sisters, your brothers, the school, the teachers – but never blame yourself. It’s never your fault. But it’s always your fault, because if you wanted to change you’re the one who has got to change.”
~Katharine Hepburn

I needed to hear this today. Thank you. Especially – Being yourself is one of the hardest things because it’s scary. You always wonder whether you’ll be accepted for who you really are.

You’re welcome. Happy you enjoyed the post. It is scary being yourself, but once you realise that you’re the only person you have to impress. It makes it a whole lot easier. You have to first accept yourself before anyone else can 😉
