A blog party, link party or meet & greet is the most basic and fun way for bloggers to share their work with an audience they might not normally reach, exchange ideas with fellow bloggers and an opportunity for the host blog to gain some extra traffic.

Here’s a brief guideline of how they work!

1. Leave your own blog or social media link in the comment section below, along with a brief introduction to your site or share a link to someone else’s blog.
2. Be kind– one link per comment, but the forum is always open, so you can return as often as you like.
3. Keep the fun going -Invite your friends. The more the merrier. The more people who know, the more potential new followers you’ll have.
4. Share, share, share!! Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Facebook, Bloglovin…..or whichever social site you’re using, spread the word. It’s a great way to find new bloggers and help them find you.

Don’t want to throw a party? No problem! Host a simple meet and greet by creating a two liner blog asking people to leave links to their blogs or social media page in the comment section.

    This is not about me… It is about a dear dear (almost deer – you’ll understand if you visit her) friend of mine. You very well might know her already, but if you don’t… It is a crime! She is resting and can’t attend the party herself, but she allowed me to share my choice of post from her blog “The Cabbage Patch”…

    Linda is a sweetheart, a beautiful soul, hilarious woman, and a great writer! Her life is bigger than fiction, and I know you’ll enjoy her stories…
