Here we are mid-week with just a few more shopping days until Christmas. I’m getting mixed vibes about the impending holiday, some have expressed that they’re not ready, some are hyped and ready. Me? I’ve been ready since September, I live for the decorations and good cheer that comes along with the season. But if you do observe Christmas there’s really not much needed to be ready for it because whether you’re ready or not December 25th is coming. So surviving the storm called Christmas is really a matter of mentally preparing yourself for it and deciding what you want to do.
Mental readiness isn’t just about Christmas, it’s about changing your thoughts about the season, turning your life around and living the life you were meant to love- Happy, Successful and Positively Awesome! It takes just one small positive thought in the morning to change your entire day. Challenge yourself to do this by beginning each day with something positive!
5 Thought provoking quotes to jump start any day:
“The wealthiest places in the world are not gold mines, oil fields, diamond mines or banks. The wealthiest place is the cemetery. There lies companies that were never started, masterpieces that were never painted… In the cemetery, there is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential. There is a treasure within you that must come out. Don’t go to the grave with your treasure still within YOU.” ~ Myles Munroe
“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life–think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success.” ~Swami Vivekananda
“There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed.” ~Ray Goforth
“The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don’t define them, or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them.” ~Denis Waitley
“We have to stand up for what we believe in, even when we might not be popular for it. Honesty starts with being ourselves, authentic and true to who we are and what we believe in, and that may not always be popular, but it will always let you follow your dreams and your heart.” ~Tabatha Coffey
