Wonderful Wednesday-The Story Of You! Controlling Your Feelings, Thoughts And Words…

“Change, will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” ~ Barack Obama

You may not be able to control some changes in your life, but you can control your words, thoughts and feelings. You can choose to be an optimist rather than a pessimist, you can stop trying to control the external circumstances and control what goes on internally instead.

You are more of what you do than what you say because actions speak louder than words. You have to become aware of the language you use to describe the changes you’re experiencing in your life; if you choose words of oppression rather than empowerment then that is what you will experience. Choose your words wisely, always seek and speak opportunity. People may look at me as being arrogant but in my world anything is possible, there are no failures only lessons and opportunities.

You know by now that your thoughts become your reality, by changing the way you think and learning to become more aware of your thought patterns, you can control that film playing in your head. You can make it one of happiness, negativity or a dark horror story. I love a good horror, but I prefer my life to be a happy, heartwarming film.

Your feelings will be your compass because you know how you want and don’t want to feel. I know no one who wants to feel depressed or unhappy. Don’t let negative emotions dominated your thoughts during your time of change. Let those ‘good’ feelings help guide you in the direction of feeling better by alerting you to how you don’t want to feel. Trust your intuition and not your circumstance.

Great point that you made about it’s are choice what words we speak to ourselves. It made me stop and reflect on my own life, the importance of choosing empowering words to tell myself. People can encourage you but are you encouraging yourself. Great Post!
