We have all sorts of tags to attach to people we meet in everyday life. With some, we have an instant connection, while some annoy us even from a distance. Some invoke a sick feeling in us when they speak, while some wear funny clothes. Some have a funny way of walking, while some are born with great sense of humour. Some are just adorable being themselves.

You must be wondering why I’m telling you all this? There’s an assortment of people, but so what? My point is, don’t be very picky when it comes to people. Welcome all those who want to be with you. You need all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle in order to see the big picture, and you need all the colours in the palette to make the painting colourful.

Waiting Out the Storm & Overcoming the Stresses that Comes with It

This week has been an emotional roller coaster, with a Category 5 storm barrelling down on The Bahamas and my daughter being stuck between destinations, it’s really been challenging to stay without going into a panic attack. It’s the unknowing that’s really the killer, it’s not a matter on if the storm will make landfall, it’s all a matter of when!
