WANTED: Holiday Guest Bloggers

Christmas-Stories-love-joy

The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love and of generosity and of goodness. It illuminates the picture window of the soul, and we look out upon the world’s busy life and become more interested in people than in things.” ~ Thomas S. Monson

It’s that time of year again and I know we’re a few months before the big day. But I thought I’d start early as a few people last year needed more time to write their blogs. Please don’t be afraid to share your thoughts about the Holidays, it can be as personal as you wish it to be.   It’s up to you what it is you want to share or how you want to depict  what Christmas means to you.

You can send your submissions through my contact page and I’ll post it during my Christmas countdown, in December.

Here are the guidelines for submissions

  1. Please proofread your piece, even the best of us slip up.
  2. One submission per person.
  3. I’m flexible with the word count so don’t be afraid to go over the count. Some of you were worried about going over the quoted limit last year.
  4. Photographs are accepted, however, please include credit for submissions (website credit, personal credit).
  5. Only original blogs will be accepted. If sharing  a friend’s blog, a post from another blogger or article published elsewhere, please ensure that permission was granted.
  6. Twist in the mix, you can submit a written or a weblog (video uploaded to youtube and link shared here).

If you don’t wish to share a personal story, poetries and short stories will also be accepted. The guidelines above applies to all submissions.

Check out what my Guest Bloggers shared last year.

Looking forward to reading your stories.

    1. Thanks for the tip! Glad to see that there were only two errors, ‘a double space’ and the word ‘youtube’ grammarly doesn’t pick up youtube either for some reason 😉
