“Right now I am trying to be in a place of calm, a place where I can chill out and then handle the chaos of life better. You don’t just get it overnight; you have to work at it. It’s a daily struggle.”   ~ Jackee Harry

This is my submission to Debbie’s Forgiving Friday  series, where she writes about and invite others to share their thoughts on  Forgiveness, Self-Love and Personal Growth.

Spending two weeks at home not having to worry about racing out of the house each morning for work really gave me some quiet time to recuperate, reflect and regroup. In that time I realise that there are quite a few things still vaguely outlined on my agenda and that I don’t have all the answers because at this time I don’t have the slightest clue about how to attain some of them. The ones that have managed to come to fruition only pushed me to pursue even bigger goals.

As you know each time you climb one mountain another rises up in your path, sometimes larger and higher than the one before. It’s not fair but who makes the rules of what’s fair and what’s not? We can feel disenfranchised, discouraged or just plain fed up with the way we feel that life is treating us. Yet we continue in our pursuits as our dreams, our appetite for more increase with each passing day.

It’s been a turbulent few weeks, with days where I really didn’t feel like doing anything at all, let alone write and though I didn’t fix anything major in my life. Removing myself from my normal routine and the everyday chaos like I was forced to do; have left me feeling that I’m in a much better place than I was two weeks ago. I’m now feeling more rejuvenated and ready to climb those mountains.

Sound off below and let me know what has rejuvenated you thurst for more!
