Stay focused, go after your dreams and keep moving toward your goals.
~ James Todd Smith
This blog is two folds.
I’ve like to thank Tikeetha T for her blog yesterday in which she shared her goals as well as encouraged other to pursue theirs.
This is also my contribution to Debbie’s Forgiving Friday series, where she writes about and invite others to share their thoughts on Forgiveness, Self-Love and Personal Growth. Debbie, thank you and I am so grateful the opportunity to contribute to your blog.
I have always prided myself on running full steam ahead. Set my sails, catch the wind and sail into the direction of my goals because I truly believe that we were all sent here for a purpose, you know this! I’ve preached this over and over. Our purpose is so significant there would a void in the Universe if we didn’t exist. I genuinely believe in the unique gifts we are each born with.
Thank you, Debbie for your power session that helped me to refocus on my goals and Tikeetha for confirming it’s ok to sometimes ‘Flip the Script’ in reassessing old goals and creating new ones.
Here as some of my immediate and long-term values and goals:
-What matters most to me right now is to be more connected with myself, being present, feeling blissful and grounded.
-To have more meaningful relationships with people, not just building contacts but being able to connect with people on a deeper level. To add value to their lives while learning from their experiences.
-FinancialFreedomm! Have more control of my time, use is wisely through working only on the things that I feel connected with. I plan to do this without violating my values, goals or personal mission.
-Enjoy the opportunities that life has awarded me. I will enjoy and appreciate my life and the experiece of living in different countries.
-Live without regrets of leaving family behind or not physically being there to lend support during their times of loss or harships! Also, I’m desirous to have a deeper more loving relationship with my daughters and spouse living each day to it’s fullest.
-Build my Mom her dream home while she is young enough to enjoy it!
The expression of these gifts contribute to a cause far greater than ourselves, a cause so great we can’t discuss them with small minds. Causes so great thinking about them scares us. Living a purpose driven life means pushing all fears aside, picking up the baton and finishing the race.

I will be reducing my Internet footprint therefore you won’t be hearing much from me. Real life has intervened. Thanks.

I love that quote and it’s so motivating. Sometimes we lose sight of our goals and stand still but James Todd Smith has the right idea 😊

You are amazing, Etta! What a powerful and beautiful list of goals for living your purpose-driven life. Way to put it out there to the Universe! I am so touched that you shared such a meaningful post for #ForgivingFridays. It is an honor and a blessing to highlight your heart’s expression. God bless each and every one of your intentions, and also blessings to your Mom and a dream house for her!
Talk with you soon, Etta. You are a courageous being of Light.

I love your goals to be more present, both with yourself and with others. That makes such a difference. I also like that you described your goal attitude as “blissful” what a beautiful word. I tend to use “joy.” But I think the point is the same. 🙂

Thank you! Yes Joy and Blissful are interchangeable though for me Joy is more like eating all the chocolate you want without absorbing the calories. Blissful is eating the chocolate despite the calories 😉
