One week ago I learned that my grand-aunt had died. She was missing for a little over 48hrs, she suffered from Depression, Dementia and Epilepsy. I remember praying night from the time I received that news that she was missing, that she would be found safe. Anyone who has ever lost anyone knows the feeling, so I won’t bore you with the details of emotions that swept through my body upon hearing the news, other than the distance only compounded those emotions. Death indeed reminds us of our immortality, it reminds us to never take anything for granted but most of all I think it reminds us most how important it is to LIVE.
