Bless Your Circumstances

Like attracts like. Hate brings hate and all the ills that follow in its wake. Envy and fear and worry attract discord and disease. If you want health, happiness, in your life, if you are seeking riches and success, attune your thoughts to these. BLESS the circumstances that surround you. Bless and praise those who come in contact with you. Bless even the difficulties you meet, for by blessing them, you can change them from discordant conditions to favourable ones, you can speed up their rate of activity to where they will bring you good instead of evil.

  1. Amen, Etta. You speak the truth. 🙂 I’m facilitating an Evening of Gratitude this Tuesday in Los Angeles, and the power of gratitude is very present with me right now. Here are a few great quotes for you. Love, Debbie

If you would practice Soul Transcendence, you might begin by practicing gratitude. Try it for an hour or a day or a week. Be creative. Try it on simple things. Try it in areas where you wouldn’t normally experience gratitude. And when life seems too difficult or too sad or too hurtful, lift your perspective and ask your Soul to show you how you can use your experiences to learn to be grateful, to let go of judgments, and to expand your loving.

When you are not seeing things that way, move. Shift your focus. Seek the good, and surely the good and, even more, the highest good that is the Divine will be added unto you until you know the blessings are present.

Gratitude is a choice, an attitude, an approach towards life. My gratitude for this moment does not depend on what is going on in this moment; it is the moment, regardless of what is going on, that I am grateful for. My gratitude for this breath is not about the breath. It’s that I’m breathing, that I recognize it comes from a higher source, and that I am alive. Gratitude is a moment-to-moment celebration
