WELCOME TO DAY 13! 🍂

Thank you for your commitment to this journey.

“In detachment lies the wisdom of uncertainty…in the wisdom of uncertainty lies the freedom from our past, from the known, which is the prison of past conditioning. And in our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe.” -Deepak Chopra.

Throughout my adult life, I’ve come to understand that abundance meant something different to everyone and that each person strives to fulfil his or her goal of abundance according to his or her own belief system.

For some abundance is a lush forest or beautiful garden with abundant wildlife, and flowing clean rivers. For others, it could mean a beautiful sandy beach that runs on for miles, while for others it might be an endless stream of income.

To help you understand abundance and the Law of Detachment, today, we will learn how to abandon a desire to get a certain result.

I found it a bit difficult dealing with the law of Detachment, after being introduced to the laws of attraction many years ago by my friend Joy, made me understand the importance of letting go and letting in. Though trusting the process wasn’t easy! It took some time for me to realise that by detaching from that need of wanting a certain outcome, I could create clarity to see the outcome. This may sound crazy and you may not get it at first, I didn’t! But after a while, you will because as you grow into your own, the practice of detachment becomes second nature to you.

However you decide to approach today’s task and lesson, I ask that you open up your mind and heart to the possibilities of letting go.

🔈MEDITATION LINK:

Abundance comes in many forms. As long as you create through desires that benefit the whole world, you can get whatever you want.

Symbols of abundance: a big house, a new car or elaborate jewellery will bring waves of excitement into your life. And yet, these symbols may mean sacrificing the ocean for the sake of several transient waves.

“Live, overflowing with an abundance of love, passion, creativity, and significance, and then these symbols themselves will “chase” you.”

💥Dr. David Simon, Co-Founder of the Chopra Center.📘JOURNALRecord your thoughts on the following questions, in your journal:

❣️QUESTION 1: What symbols of abundance do you dream of?

❣️QUESTION 2: How could they improve both your life and others?

❣️QUESTION 3: How else will such abundance positively affect your life?

💫REFLECTIONSThink about your mom’s description from Day 11. Considering your life and your patterns of behaviour, what similarities do you see between you and your mom? What are they and how were they formed? Write these reflections in your notebook.
