Your purpose is determined in large part by your unique superpowers: your gifts, talents, and abilities. Find them, and run with them. It will bless you and make you a blessing to others.

What is a Super Hero? I bet if you asked anyone that question they would someone with super human strength, they may even list a few of the following:
Someone with X-ray vision
Someone who is faster than a speeding bullet
Someone who could Fly or breathe underwater
Well, Batman only has a cape, he really doesn’t have a superpower other than quick wit and nifty gadgets. But he’s considered a Superhero. We all possess Superpowers, in fact, we use some of them every day, they simply go overlooked. You don’t need to be super strong or have exceptional abilities to be a superhero because you already are. We use our superpowers every day. Our abilities are what give us these superpowers.
4 abilities that are exceptional and extraordinary:
The Power of Thought: Our thoughts are what fuel our imagination, they nurture our creative side and increase the efficiency of our actions. The best way of using the thought superpower is to think things through before acting. Many people act first and think later. Thinking about a situation through gives us the power to become more aware of a solution, and then we realise, that nothing is ever as complicated as it seems. It’s all a matter of finding the right solution for the right problem.
The power to expand your brain: Read, Read, Read! 50% of all communication is written. In 10,000 hours of studying anything, you can become an expert in that one thing. How’s that for a superpower? Reading is the foundation of learning, first, we’re taught to speak, walk, and then read. Once we’ve learned this superpower, it becomes very much a huge part of our daily lives.
The Power of Focus: No, you won’t have the ability to see through walls but you will have the ability to be more efficient and get things done. Many people take pride in multitasking, but while you’re in the middle of replying to an email or answering the phone. The brain is only giving 100% output to one of those tasks. So in essence, you’re diminishing your output. So you have to decide which task is more important and necessary at that moment, the phone call, or the emails!
The Power of Love: It takes a lot of love ourselves, but only through self-love can we recognise our own superpower. Self-love allows to be all, do all. Through this superpower, we have to power to flourish, we have to power to love our family, friends, and spouses. Self Love opens our minds to every possibility because it makes us realise we are enough, we are worthy and we can do anything within the limit of our minds and the only thing that limits our minds, is our imagination.
You don’t need a cape, outrun a speeding bullet or be able to see through walls. All you need to do is use the abilities you already possess. Maybe you can wear a cape if you want, every superhero looks pretty good in a cape right?
Great post! I have a little card on my notice board which reads ‘Be your own superhero!’
