‘Juice vs Sauce’

I love the analogy here.

Advice with beth

Hi guys,

You are probably all wondering what on earth this blog is about.. i promise you it is all going to make sense in a few moments. I was scrolling through my instagram a few days ago and i came across this one video, the video showed an employee in American store explaining to a customer the difference between ‘juice and sauce’, (i am going to insert the Youtube video below incase any of you are interested).

juice vs sauce

In this video he is basically explaining how juice is only temporary, he says that it is something that can come and go, he used the example of, if you keep a bottle of lemonade in your fridge, how long is that going to last you? a couple of days at the most (hence why lemonade (juice) is only temporary), he then goes on to compare this to sauce, he…

I’m Back, So It’s Blog Party Time!

Susie Lindau's Wild Ride

It’s blog party time!

I have traveled for nearly the entire month of June and have been off the grid. My last post left off in Scotland. I’ve got another teed up, but before I launch into telling you about my wild adventure abroad, I want to know what happened in your part of the world.

ONE link please or it will be sent to spam filter hell.

CHOOSE ONE Of YOUR STORIES, a poem, whatever you like, and post the link in the comments. If you leave two links, you’ll be thrown into the spam filter. That can be so embarrassing for both of us. The worst part? I usually don’t notice right away.

Meet my friends!

CLICK ON A FEW LINKS to meet other bloggers. Find out what they’ve been up to this summer.Blog Party Time!

Sharing My ULTIMATE VISION with You. Will You Share Yours?

a cooking pot and twisted tales

Without Vision, The People Perish. Proverbs 29:18

Last week, I spoke about why it’s imperative to have a Blueprint for your life and the thing is that there’s no time better than now to have one.

As I began the journey of changing my life, my habits and creating the life of my dreams,  I realized that people avoid creating a vision for their lives because they believe the exercise is futile.

I’ve also observed that the most successful, interesting and accomplished people all have a vision for their lives. They have a life plan.

While, on the other hand, those who are stuck in a rut with that sense of hopelessness and simply passing time in life without joy and aspiration, lack a vision. In fact, many of them don’t even bother to have any long-term goals because at the back of their minds they silently feel ‘why bother when…

Would you sign a prenup

Prenup! Yay or Nay??
English Rose would love to hear what you have to say about this one 😉

TinzRant

The topic of prenups is one that welcomes many mixed views. Me andJoshboth share our perspective on this topic. To kick this post of we should first get a better understanding of what a prenup actually is:

A prenup is a legal contract/agreement that states how both finances and assets will be split between a couple in the unfortunate case of divorce.
Some people are comfortable with the concept of signing a prenup whilst others will take immediate offence to this and could even flat-out refuse to sign it.

From researching this topic the most common reason as to why people take the idea of a prenup personally is that they believe it shows a lack of trust. They also see this agreement as preparing for the end of the marriage before it has even begun. Others that are for the idea of a prenup see it as…

Why did they Like your post?

Interesting read and I have wondered this myself! Why do people “like” and not “comment” and vice versa on a post?

Branching Out

I have been watching this
phenomenon since I started blogging.

A post can receive more Likes,
than Comments.

like.JPG

Do you notice that?

Do you ever ask yourself,
Whydid they Like my post?

Aren’t you curious?

I am!!!

  • Yes, a Like is better than a no read at all.
  • A Like lets you know, someone read your post.
  • I understand that we may not ALWAYS have a comment to share.
  • I have Liked, without leaving a comment!
  • Comments are optional…so are Likes.
  • There is a good chance, we are pressed for time…… yet…

…certainly you must wonder,
why did people Like your post?
[Deep down inside, don’t you want them to leave a Comment?]

Why DID they like your post?

I mean…. they read and LIKED your post.
And then they left?
Without sharing with you,
WHY they Liked your post.

…and you are okay…

5 Things Blogging has taught me so far….

Kitcats Designs

stocksnap_fhted9eq3bI have not been doing this blogging thing very long and WOW it’s really been like studying a whole new career. I have spent these past 5 mo studying a few hours nightly from the experts out there. What I have learned so far is;

1. I am not technical, BUT I can be taught. I laugh at this statement now because this was huge fear of mind that actually held me back from pursuing this sooner. I may be slower than some, take more notes, ask more questions… but I’m HERE... I’m doing it!!!

2. Accountability to myself-What I mean by this is,  I have finally reached that threshold where I’m writing for myself. We all have accountability to our family, loved ones, jobs, children and such. This is a deeper sense of being accountable to our creative selves  and how we put out in there in the world..

3.  …
