Giving Up Should Not Be An Option

Only 2 things determine if your life will end; God’s will, and if you choose to give up. As difficult as life can get (and I know we face challenges that shake our faith and test our strength), keep in mind; you thought you’d NEVER survive the last “thing” you went through. Well, here you are, still living! That said giving up should no longer be an option.

The Voice of God

I have faith that God will show you the answer. But you have to understand that sometimes it takes a while to be able to recognize what God wants you to do. That’s how it often is. God’s voice is usually nothing more than a whisper, and you have to listen very carefully to hear it. But other times, in those rarest of moments, the answer is obvious and rings as loud as a church bell.

Don’t Look at Life As A Competition

I am convinced that the jealous, the angry, the bitter and the egotistical are the first to race to the top of mountains. A confident person enjoys the journey, the people they meet along the way and sees life, not as a competition. They reach the summit last because they know God isn’t at the top waiting for them. He is down below helping his followers to understand that the view is glorious where ever you stand.

When we learn to think the truth we have actually come to the “parting of the ways.” Here we find where the old leaves off and the new begins. In this state, the wrong disappears and the right is discerned and realized in an ever-increasing manner. The foundation of all truth is expressed in the basic statement ―MAN IS A SPIRITUAL BEING CREATED IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD.

Feeling is Believing…. Pt. 1

ridge_nebula_by_blph-d5eri70 “where no explanation exists, there can only be one answer: God and not just any God but their God”  ~ E.S.Abernathy, Jr.

Part 2

Part 3

Atheism originates from the Greek word “atheos” meaning without Gods. The Atheist does not believe in the existence of deities. It was in the 18th century during the “Age of Enlightenment” that century individuals identified themselves as Atheist, criticising religion and seeing iI as narrow-mindedness.

Theism comes from the Greek word “theos” meaning God, and is a vast contrast to Atheism. In theism the belief is that ONE God exists and presides over mankind, ruling with an iron fist of thunder, rewarding the faithful and condemning those who do not keep the laws or commandants or laws set-forth by a certain Religious Sect-Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Druze, Sikhism and Hinduism.

Agnosticism, coined by Thomas Henry Huxley during the mid-1800s is the belief that God, the divine supernatural deity may exist, but may not. An Agnostic neither believes nor disbelieves that God truly exists. Confusing I know! An agnostic is confident in their belief that it’s not possible to have knowledge about God or about the creation of the Universe for that matter; therefore refrain from following any organized doctrine.

The Tie That Binds

The votes are in: People want me to post more about myself, and want more articles. All I can say is-be careful what you wish for! (lol)

My grandmother passed away in 2002 a few days after Christmas, think she was determined to spend one last Christmas with us. From that moment I got the news of her passing everything went by in a flash. Planning her funeral-Flash! Avoiding the cemetery and spending the next two days in bed-Flash!

I learned so much from her, but for me her 74 years were too short, because we had only 33 of them together. And that was NOT enough! I wanted more. I wanted my children to know her presence. I wanted to continue basking in her aura of unconditional sunshine.
