Self-love and Self-care have both become quite popular in the circles of Self- Help. Not to be neglected, two words that are often used interchangeable to describe how we feel about ourselves, are Self-worth and Self-value, they reflect how we look at our worth and how much we value ourselves. To have Self-worth means to value one’s self. Self-value is a behavioural response to how worthy you think you are. There’s not a huge difference between their meaning and they can both be used to generalize the concept of how we see our selves and how we project ourselves to others. People who often know a person’s worth tend to use it to their advantage, by exploiting that person’s abilities. I’m not saying it doesn’t exists but rarely would you will find someone, whether it’s an employer, a partner or family who will value your self-worth and honor you for that. If you do find people who hold you to the highest esteem, cherish them.

If you could achieve just one goal, what would it be? If you could do anything you wanted, or be whatever you wanted, what would you choose?
Achieving any goal involves being emotionally and physically dedicated to moving in the direction of that goal and aligning yourself with anyone or thing that can make that happen. There are unlimited resources available to you to achieve any goal you set for yourself. Once you ignore those goal-sabotaging roadblocks you manifest you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
Whatever thought, whatever problem you can get across to your subconscious mind at the moment of dropping off to sleep, that “Man Inside You,” that Genie-of-your-Mind will work out for you. Of course, not everyone can succeed in getting the right thought across to the subconscious at the first or the second attempt. It requires understanding and faith, just as the working out of problems in mathematics requires an understanding of and faith in the principles of mathematics. But keep on trying, and you WILL do it. And when you do, the results are sure. If it is something that you want, VISUALIZE it first in your mind’s eye, see it in every possible detail, see yourself going through every move it will be necessary for you to go through when your wish comes into being. Build up a complete story, step by step, just as though you were acting it all out. Get from it every ounce of pleasure and satisfaction that you can. Be thankful for this gift that has come to you. Then relax; go on to sleep if you can; give the “Man Inside You” a chance to work out the consummation of your wish without interference. When you waken, hold it all pleasurably in thought again for a few moments. Don’t let doubts and fears creep in, but go ahead, confidently, knowing that your wish is working itself out. Know this, believe it — and if there is nothing harmful in it, IT WILL WORK OUT! ~Robert Collier
You don’t need more motivation. You don’t need to be inspired to action. You don’t need to read any more lists and posts about how you’re not doing enough.
We act as if we can read enough articles and enough little Pinterest quotes and suddenly the little switch in our brain will put us into action. But, honestly, here’s the thing that nobody really talks about when it comes to success and motivation and willpower and goals and productivity and all those little buzzwords that have come into popularity: you are as you are until you’re not. You change when you want to change. You put your ideas into action in the timing that is best. That’s just how it happens.
And what I think we all need more than anything is this: permission to be wherever the fuck we are when we’re there.

You don’t get to control everything. You can wake up at 5 a.m. every day until you’re tired and broken, but if the words or the painting or the ideas don’t want to come to fruition, they won’t. You can show up every day to your best intentions, but if it’s not the time, it’s just not the fucking time. You need to give yourself permission to be a human being.
