We often look at forgiveness as something we do for others, we forgive, forget and move on. But forgiveness is not always about forgiving someone who has hurt you or done you wrong, it’s about burying the past and redeeming grace. Your Grace! Forgiveness is also a gift you give yourself. It’s about admitting to yourself that your peace is worth more than the punishment you are inflicting on yourself by not forgiving yourself.

Strengthen Your Wings In Flight

I’ve come to the realisation that I don’t have to always know where I’m going. I just need a plan to get me there because it’s only when we jump that we grow our wings. A mother teaches her chick how to fly by pushing it out of its nest, without the chick knowing where it’s going, the chick strengthens its wings in flight. We cannot strengthen our wings while sitting on one shore. We have to force ourselves out of the nest, unravel our wings and fly. You may still not know where we’re going but we sure as hell will get to your destination as the winds of faith, hope and love guide you there.
