Thankful Thursday

I’ve worked in hostile environments, have had toxic relationships and faced difficulties in my life, but have remained constant in my ability to shout out all the negativity. While it is true we all face issues, the world is a complex place, we’re all pieces of this giant fluid puzzle and the answers to life’s complexity aren’t always there. But each piece of that puzzle profoundly affects each one of us, so you matter, your actions matter, what you have to offer the world matters.

In this complex world know that you’re never alone. You do not exist alone and cannot create anything alone. What this world needs is a humanistic awakening of the desire to raise one’s life condition to a place where our actions are rooted in altruism and compassion. You cannot hide behind a profession, money or bad attitude; you have to be human, treating everyone else as human being. Focus your energy on becoming the best human you can be. Focus on developing empathy and compassion. Through the process you’ll tap into a wealth of inspiration rooted in the complexity and curiosity of what it means to simply exist on this planet.

Each morning I’m thankful for another day to be apart of this puzzle, to be given the opportunity to enjoy the world in all it’s complexity, hostility and difficulties.
