TIME!

To each of us, TIME means something different…….. So read it, read it well – take it as you wish!!!!!!

To souls lost in love, time is infinite. To a mother giving life, time is everything. To anyone who has ever lost a loved one, time is grief. To an inmate sitting on death row, time is redemption. To a baby taking its first breath, time is life. To a bride on her wedding day-time is hope and joy. To an artist, time is inspiration. To a doctor saving a life, time is of the essence. To a fighter, time means win or lose. To a millionaire, time is money! But don’t be fooled-Time is a thief….it robs us of our youth. Time can steal even the sound of mind. Time is unconscionable!!! To a cancer patient, time is hope, faith, love and joy.

Like a drug we always want more, we never have enough of it, yet it can not be bought. All the planning, all the memos and notes of reminders of what to do on any given day; it doesn’t matter how hard we try to hold on to it by planning those moments in our lives. Time escapes us, sifting through our fingers like sand. Yet we continue to take it for granted, wasting it with idle feats. Remember-read it, read it well take as you wish!!!……..Procrastination is the Thief of Time and only you can decide what TIME means to you!

  7. Thank you for such a wonderful post. I completely agree with you. Time is finite. There are only so many hours in a day, none of which can be reclaimed. Economic progress and technological advances had already shrunk working hours considerably by his day, and there was no reason to believe this trend would not continue. Whizzy cars and ever more time-saving tools and appliances guaranteed more speed and less drudgery in all parts of life. Thanks again for reminding us the importance of time.
